Re-start your mining farm

Here's a tip for the newbies. If you have a large mining farm and your miners lock up after being re-started, this is nothing wrong with your internet or your miners. Modern routers have firewalls in them, and connecting too many devices simultaneously will likely overwhelm most consumer routers, causing them to think you're under a denial-of-service (DoS) attack. Fix: restart your miners 2 or 3 at time, but never all at once.

Checking fan position on bitaxe

For some of you that are having temperature issues with your bitaxe, in some cases the fans do slip out slightly from the chip... enough to reduce cooling, but not enough to fall off. To ensure your device is cooling at full capacity, push gently on the fan to make sure it's pressed as tight as possible against your chip. I just did this with all 6 of my gammas and one of them had slipped out almost a quarter inch.

NMMiner stuck at 80%

I’ve got a nmminer that’s stuck at 80%, have tried different 4 pools and also resetting the device... nothing works.

I’ve tried flashing but it doesn’t seem to work with my chrome book. Any help?

Number of workers update automatic?

Wondering if I had an nm gamma or bitaxe gamma that it would add the number of workers on my small eps32 as I have 3 of those, but wanted to add a bigger one for the fun of it, but have it show I added it as a worker. Do I need to do any config or it should pick it up on its own?

Desktop air cooler for mining rigs?

Just curious if anyone's ever thought about using of these to cool their bitaxe or other mining rigs? Not sure how much cool air these things actually produce but for ten bucks there isn't much to lose.

What is the best aftermarket cooler for gamma and which ones would be compatible? I found this pic online of the type of cooler I am thinking about but it doesn't have a link w/ it so idk which model it is or if it would even work with gamma.
