Got another gamma but came with stock parts. Has anyone put this particular fan on their gamma and does it mount to the stock heatsink? I see an option for "pwm" what is that and is it compatible with gamma? Sorry for many questions this is my first mod on a gamma

PWM stands for pulse width modulation basically allows the unit to adjust fan speed based on the temps, and yes it's compatible with your gamma. And ya that fits the stock sink but make sure you get the 4 pin version.

Yes it fits, but what is your goal in upgrading? Noctua is known for quietness, but not highest CFM or static pressure. If goal of upgrade is to overclock you’re actually better off with an Argon Thrml like this one. Noctuas are just silent oem replacements.

It is quieter but not as good as stock fan. Rpm’s are too low.
