Here’s how to update the firmware on your Bitcoin Lottery Miner to the latest version (only takes 5 minutes).
Visit https://flash.nmminer.com/
At the very top of the screen make the following selections:
NMMiner Supported Devices, select esp32-2432s028r-st7789 or esp32-2432s028r-ili9341, depending on which chipset your miner uses. If you’re not sure which chipset you have, just try both of them; it will definitely be one or the other. (Selecting the wrong chipset will not damage your device.)
Firmware version, select the most recent, which will be at the very top of the list (currently it’s 1.8.27).
Baud Rate, select: 921600.
Plug your device into your computer via the USB cable that was included with your order. Select “connect and program” on the top right side of the screen.
Then select your device in the window that pops up, wait ten seconds, and hit “connect” in the pop up window.
Your screen will go dark (this is normal).
Once you see code start scrolling down the screen, your device is being flashed. Ignore any error messages you see on the screen, as long as the code is scrolling, then it’s flashing correctly.
Sometimes the code may not start scrolling when you hit “connect”, but instead you’ll receive the following error message:
[Object.debug:362] Finished read loopError: Couldn’t sync to ESP. Try resetting.
If you receive this error message, that is OK. Just unplug your device, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in and repeat the process. Sometimes it may take a few tries before the device flashes successfully.
In about 2 to 3 minutes your screen wake up again. Ignore any error messages on your screen. You are successfully flashed. You should see the new version number appear at teh top right of the screen for just a few seconds while the device starts back up.
There is a config section that appears at the bottom of the screen after flashing is complete. Simply enter you Bitcoin wallet address and your WIFI credentials, and then hit “Configure Device.” (If you want to use different mining polls than the defaults, just replace the default mining pool address’s with your won in this config section.)
